Chaos Magic is arcane power that draws its strength from the Realm of Chaos. Chaos Magic was practiced widely during the Middle Ages of Chaos. Chaos magic is well-known to provide great power with less training and creating dependency in the user. Long-term use of chaos magic can result in the user receiving the Taint-of-Chaos. Chaos Magic is associated with the worship chaos gods. Chaos Magic is outlawed in most jurisdictions in the West. It is described as emotionally powerful and threatening to the freewill of the user.
In the strict sense, chaos magic differs from chaos worship, the first being arcane, the second being hieratic.
