Dáunau
Dáunau is daughter of the Earth goddess, Feath and and the Sea god, Eshik. She is mother of those seeking knowledge too and is goddess of the oracle, diviners, and scholars of the esoteric. She is consort to the god Threy (Luvas) and mother to several godlings by Threy, most notably, Dáwan. In ancient Moigthe legend, she was called Uki to avoid using her true name, Dáunau, and is the mother of the Durrhaunvian Triad. In Moigthe accounts, she is seen as dwelling in a sea cave along the south coast of Pytharnia. Anyone who can find and enter her sea cave has the opportunity to ask her for knowledge.
Dáunau is a sea goddess by birth, but she watches over those who call upon her name for protection when seeking knowledge of the esoteric. She warns her followers when their quest for knowledge endangers their lives as well.
She tolerates her husband's infidelities and often defends him among the Isxinthions when his indiscretions invoke the wrath of the gods. At crucial times, she can rely on him to do her bidding.
The goddess Dáunau is the namesake of the Donavish Tribes.
