Deif Skaivund of Kauspäl
b 2484, Kauspäl; d 2542. Thracian inventor, Deif Skaivund created the aerobarge, a practical development of the vaporcraft, in 2517. The vessel was laughed at originally due to its boat-like shape and need to fly low. It become very practical for transporting heavy cargo up and down the slopes of western Thrace and its use spread throughout the Jaggudorns and Pytharnia.
Deif Skaivund was given several awards posthumously by the rulers of the Thracian Empire for his contribution to technology. The aerobarge enabled the New Kalikán Empire to transport large bodies of troops quickly throughout the mountainous regions of its dominion.
