The Tassan name for a city of great antiquity in the Tassan Highlands, Flampesha rests on a great cliff and juts out impossibly over the lowlands. According to Kalaman literature, the city once was a skyness created and skyborne during the seventh millennium before Salmakhamer, called Gamphapand. The legend relates that Flampesha was brought to rest against the mountains during the defeat of the various chaos rulers of that period. Scholars today attribute the ability of the city to remain aloft despite the absence of any solid mass immediately below most of it to natural properties of the skyborne peninsula. Flampesha is part of the Aurician province, Lower Zamir.

The city remained inhabited with rising and failing fortunes over the nine thousand years since its creation. During the second century before Salmakhamer, Flampesha was ruled by a powerful Midrinksi Tribe and came into conflict with Jaithan controlled Cetibrymio for control of the Corundian Peninsula. The city was an Arathracian Sanctuary during the early Middle Ages, but abandoned during the Chaos period. It is now considered deconsecrated, but is very much an active city.

Great swaths of the city are covered with jahshput trees.
