Glyphics is the skilled use of magical glyphs to protect and enchant a subject or immediate area. Magical characters are carefully inscribed on the surface of the relevant object or subject. Glyphics is an umbrella term that includes all matters of magical inscriptions including runes. A practitioner of glyphics is a glyphist.
A magical glyph is typically a very complex symbol that may resemble a hieroglyph or a Deiunic character.
