Goscundy and its eleven prefectures in northwestern Throvy,

A traditional region of northwest Throvy, Goscundy is closest to the isles of the City of Aurice and proud of its ancient roots and culture. Goscundy is politically a province in the Over-Province of Throvy. Goscundy is bordered to the south by the provinces of Ugornia and Brodora and to the east by Alascundy. Across the Sea of Magdaia from Goscundy lies the isles of the province of Thykomia. The Aurician Lagoon is an inlet of Goscundy. Archmage Isle (Rock of Mages) is part of Goscundy.

Goscundy's north coast is edged east to west with the precipitous Igorian Mountains against the sea. These tend to avert the harshness of storms from northern climes. The weather is somewhat humid due to proximity to the sea. The winters are mild with little or no snow and the summers can be rather warm at times.

The parliamentary seat of Goscundy is Nestrabonia. Other cities include Lexicle, Mondorigor, Cantira, Taltera, Scloye, Trecoria, Magetown, Uscolo, Samptima, Breakchaos, Nashivo, Strezzella, Drancovigo, and Zagiva. The imperial Aurician Metropolis is independent from the provinces, although historically it shares Goscundian culture.

Bards of Goscundy are renown for their poems exulting the history of the land, especially Airdred the Wily and the victories of the Tisbajuma of the Fifth Isbajath, especially favoring the valiant Gidhoniel kab S'ephah and his defeat of wicked Prince Ulcanov of the Shattered Waters.

The province of Goscundy is divided into eleven administrative prefectures with includes the three islands of the Sea of Magdaia (Chama Island, ?, ?). The Aurician Metropolis, although culturally and historically connected to Goscundy, is independent and under the direct rule of the Noble Senate of Aurice. Two Throe Wastes mar the east and the west ends of the province, the Durstnot Waste to the west and the Hurstless Waste to the east.

Modern Goscundy is served by three Dragonrail Lines, including the Imperial Dragonrail Line of Aurice.

Goscundy has several Mediterranean forests: Drelegreffi Forest, Valastine Forest, and the Eyfrey Forest. There are two salt marshes that hug the coast of the Lagoon of Aurice, the Jikala Marsha and the Grigolo Marsh.
