Heliophany is the moment in Arathracian ceremony when the sun is revealed and is generally associated with sunrise when the propitiation of the sun is first observed. Heliophany also means the power and occasion of the revelation of the transcendental power of the sun god Arathrax in the experience of his worshipers.
