The Iglihelmuëche is a bizarre and cruel inhabitant of the demons’ realm. Its huge body is toad-shaped with an amphibian’s hide and a toad head with four horns and four eyes. The fiend appears to be held up about thirty feet above the ground by eight tentacle limbs with suction cups. In fact, the demon is hovering above the ground, the ends of its tentacles dragging on the surface. The tentacle limbs are about 30’ long. A great, leathery, tapering lizard-like tail stretches from its back, usually held aloft above its body. These creatures vary in coloration as much as regular toads. The iglihelmuëche or ‘iggy’ as they are sometimes nicknamed is thought to have originated from the swamps of Yezhjahi, a world that succumbed to the eviler power of the Realm of Chaos. They are endowed by their patron demon lord with a magical ring that gives them additional powers. In combat, they rely on their eight tentacles to batter and grab their opponents. Powerful sorcerers of the indigenous tribes of Saktiya, on the World of Joturnia employ eldritch spells to summon iglihelmuëche as servitors, especially against the magistrates and soldiers of the Terubian Empire. In the jungles of Saktiya, the iggies feel somewhat more at home.
