The word jerukh comes from an Ithradic word [hadz̧erûķ pl hidz̧irawķa] and means in modern dwarven a period of ten thousand years. In very ancient dwarven, it meant merely a long period of time or a great age. It has been borrowed into several Pallathantic Languages and is used by magdeologers and scholars of deep history. It is sometimes translated as 'myriad.'
