Lake Okofésfe is one of several large inland bodies of freshwater in Old Zephasia. The lake rests nestled among the hills lying north of the Shimhir Arelathi Mountains. The human independent city of Prakoomatha rests near its northern shore. Most of the shores are nearly completely wooded with tropical vegetation. However, a brisk timber industry thrives on its northern shores. Timber is carried from parts of the northern shore to the central northern shore where it is carried to Prakoomatha. The lake is well-fished by fishermen from Prakoomatha and may be depleted in the near future.

Prakoomatha claims the territory up to the northern shore of Lake Okofésfe, but not the southern coast. In the hills south of the lake rested an important shrine of the Bahunan Fishfolk that was abandoned millennia ago. Small bands of fishfolk pilgrims are known to visit the site up to the present times.
