Caves are dangerous places of the unknown

Caves and Caverns, both confirmed and mythical, are found throughout the World of Asdar.

Caves and Caverns of Asdar

Cave of the Painted Warriors

An immense cavern in Amosgire noted for the giant-sized painted depictions on its walls of what are presumably giant warriors. Scholars believe the paintings are eight to eleven thousand years old.

Cavern of Dáunau’s Pain

A cave in Pytharnia (Gonfaloy or Asbardy) where it is claimed that the goddess Dáunau gave birth to one or more of her daughters. A shrine there is much visited by pilgrims including grateful women who survived childbirth.

Hersp’s Cavern

A cave where is thought an ancient shrine to the Ithrabbi god Hersp lay. Hersp's Cavern is reputed to be in the Amosgire.
