The records of Kalama provide us with kingdom after kingdom, each composed of numerous dynasties and reaching back unthinkably into the past. Scholars generally accept the historicity of the king lists from the sixth millennium before Salmakhamer towards the present. Rulers before this time are considered legendary or semi-legendary. Non-native and some native scholars regard the historicity of the Sanjasthanite Kingdoms with much skepticism.
