Literature of Asdar encompasses many cultures, humanlikes, and languages. In the West, the literature of Kalama, the dwarves, and Omre are considered some of the most ancient writings. Classical Yophenthean is a critical language of literature and many works surviving from pre-Yophenthean times were translated from the native language into the language of the Yophentheans and thus transmitted to us in modern times. Since the Isbajutha, the Medibgóëse Language became for some time the lingua franca of the ruling elite and remains to this day an important language of scholars, diplomats, and better literature.
