The Medibgóëse System of Measurement is the preeminent standard for measurements of length and area, used in international dealings. It is also used for daily matters in Pytharnia, Thrace, and, of course, Medibgö.

Developed by the wizards of the skynesses of Medibgö in probably the seventh century, this system contrasts with the eight-based system of the Yophenthean Empire and is itself based on the number eight, most likely in homage to the eight orbits of Medibgö.
