Metamagics

Metamagics is the scholarly study of magic as it behaves and functions in the World Soul and the cosmos. Metamagics includes the study of ambient magical energy, naturally occurring magical phenomena, magical energy in living creatures, and magical environments. It also includes the transcendental nature of magic between the microcosm and the macrocosm. A metamagician is a scholar of metamagics. Metamagics as it is presently understood began during the Golden Age of Ithatian Philosophy about twenty seven centuries ago.
