The study of healing, health, and modalities of healing in the tradition of the Tassan School is called midrettarianism and prepares one for the profession of being a midrettarian. The function of a midrettarian originates from the ancient priests known as midrettaries.

The midrettarianist tradition draws from at least three millennia of human knowledge from ancient Midretasso and earlier ancient Kalama.
