Numinism
Numinism is the practice of engaging natural energies of living creatures. It is thought to be broadly adjacent to arcanism as it focuses on the outside universe, but does not concern itself with arcane matrices. Some scholars believe that numinism was the magical system used by humans before exposure to the titans. Practitioners of numinism exist today, but they are generally outside of the cities where they are ostracized by organized wizards and where the lack of abundant natural presence is inimical to their craft. Numinists can transform themselves into different creatures for a period of time. They have been persecuted by Arathracians historically and are incorrectly mistrusted as chaos worshipers in some places.
