Orkybanth [anglicized pronunciation: /ˈɔrkəbænθ/] is the Midretassene god known elsewhere as Threy. Whereas Threy is a hateful outcast in most myths, Orkybanth is the judge of the dead and holds great influence with his father, Orclanx. Orkybanth is also seen as the divinity who can grant power over the undead. He is prayed to by necromancers of Corundy and sometimes elsewhere for this reason. Orkybanth's consort is Acuna, the goddess who prepares the bodies of the dead for burial and the two are considered to work in cooperation.

Orkybanth appears as a middle-aged man with a full, black beard and black locks of hair. In his capacity as judge of the dead, he holds a rod and wears a heavy robe of red, black, or grey. His holy days are new moons, particularly of Starmoon. He lore is considered important to the study of the other realms and necessary for the full learning of a trained wizard.

In depictions of art, he is shown sometimes kneeling in homage to his father, Orclanx. In other depictions, he holds his rod extended to signify his power of judgement. Orkybanth is also lord of the Orkybanthic Mysteries.

By later interpretations, Orkybanth is seen as the matured formed of Threy who is reconciled with his illegitimate birth and come into his own.
