Plateau of Midiantir
The semi-arid Plateau of Midiantir is a very broad rise from the central desert of Danona south of the western Massady Geth Mountains. The land is neighbored to the northeast by Jerushabla, to the east by Shar-Hez-Jir, to the west by Khuridan, and to the south by Jhaadi Zhumzhur. The chief inhabitants are half-orcs. The leading city is Midiantir for which the plateau is named and there is no recognized central government. The half-orc tribal leaders gather in Midiantir to make council and to receive emissaries from other lands, especially Jhaadi Zhumzhur. The population often pays homage to the overlord of the orcs of Jhaadi Zhumzhur, but has also been at war with Jhaadi Zhumzhure and allied to Jerushabla in the historic past. A significant minority of the inhabitants are Incarnandist. A lesser minority are Arathracian and accept some local authority of the Arathracian Sanctuary of Eincreasa.
