Shardanian is one of two major languages spoken in Corundy which originates from the ancient Kalaman Language. Shardanian is spoken in Rhiony and Omfluny and is closely related to the Jaithan Language. Shardanian is not a Gwenyan Language, but part of the Jathya-Dhumi Language Family. Shardanian is written in a modern version of Hirgunya.

The Shardanian Language is named after the god Shardan who is the lord of Lake Shallynaffe according to the beliefs of the Shardanian people.
