Sixth Isbajath
The Sixth Isbajath, 2283 to 2286, was ordained by the Incarnandina, Miyanikhiya kath Agiya a year before she died in 2283 when the Isbajath began in earnest. Her daughter and successor, Besheth kath Miyanikhiya, presided over the mission, sustaining the Th’ughiya and Harubeel which Miyanikhiya had appointed. The Sixth Isbajath marked the first isbajath of her presidency as Incarnandina. The sixth isbajath is also known by the zodiacal sign as the Leviathan and its avowed purpose was the overthrow of the ruler of Shelekhumbia, Ishmutekebessa.
The Sixth Isbajath received reinforcement warriors, departing from the disastrous Ambrew’s Isbajath. These early warriors established a clandestine base in Shelekhumbia where they gathered intelligence about Ishmutekebessa's rule and strength. Most of the forces originated from Tishereth and the Arathracian Sanctuary of Erracrumel. After the victory of the Isbajath, Shelekhumbia became a base for launching Paphutaikim’s Isbajath soon after against the Djinn.
The forces of the tis’bajuma came by sea barge and landed near the site of the future city of Beh-Shelub. They defeated the local chaos governor of Ishmutekebessa and established a base of operations, Camp of the Righteous. The Th’ughiya and Ishmutekebessa exchanged heralds, but could not be reconciled. Ishmutekebessa sent her commander Zhulkaraim, at the head of her Weshifite Tribal allies who swept in from the south and besieged the Camp of the Righteous, slaying all who were outside the camp. The tis’bajuma fomented a division among the Weshifite tribesmen, thus preventing them from overtaking the camp. In the meanwhile, more tis’bajuma reinforcements arrived by Xsyte skybarge from abroad. Ishmutekebessa led a flotilla of barges armed with holy warriors of the goddess Ishmût down the Leh-Shelekhumbis River, pressing more warriors into her service. She attempted to reconcile with the Lygdamionites, promising them wealth and great power, but they rebuffed her offers, stating that they would make themselves subject to no god but Lygdamion.
The army of Ishmutebessa and the tis’bajuma met in the Battle of Gammerish, 2284, in the delta of the Leh-Shelekhumbis River. The Ishmutekebessan forces were driven back to their barges. The tis’bajuma barges were swiftly sent to blockade the mouth to prevent a possible escape. Ishmutekebessa claimed a victory and regrouped back at her stronghold capital of Elántuventh of the Dawn. The tis’bajuma gained the addition of two powerful Weshifite tribal rulers and set out from their camp along the east side of the Leh-Shelekhumbis River, making for Ishmutekebessa’s Palace.
The tis’bajuma laid siege to Elántuventh of the Dawn in 2284. The city had grown enormous and the tis’bajuma could ill afford to spread their forces thin around the city, so the Ishmutekebessa was able to receive relief and resources through 2284 and 2285. She continued to importune the Lygdamionites, promising them more power, just short of equality, enticing many of their number to her side, but not the most powerful priests of Lygdamion in the land. Ishmutekebessa also send an ambassador to the lord of Djinn. It is possible that the lord of Djinn was enticed by her blandishments, but did not respond with a relief force in a timely manner. In 2286, a large contingent of Arathracian Knights-Templar from Erracrumel, Jykki Incarnandist warriors from Danona, and centaur mercenaries from Thabda-Rhathor arrived. The th’ughiya commanded the assault on the Ishmutekebessan stronghold in the Battle of the North Wind. Zhulkaraim and most of the Ismutanes were slain. Jamiheya Daughter of the Wind slew Ishmutekebessa between the altar of Ishmût and the river, according to legend. The surviving Ismutanes who surrendered were obliged to renounce their goddess and all the divinities of chaos or be executed.
