A staffwright is an arcanist who constructs magical staves, wands, or rods for the use of spellcasters. Although these are three different specializations, the term 'staffwright' is used generally for all three, more often than the rarer term, wandwright. The craft of staffwright requires a trained spellcaster in order to undertake. Consistent with the general spellcasting profession in modern Asdar, staffwrights have diminished in number.
