The Strait of Genskas is a long channel that separates the coast of mainland Gonsk from Eckerrune Island in the Gulf of Gonsky. It communicates with the Strait of Eckerrunes and the Bay of Jombergroy. It is essential for sea traffic from the port city of Genskas to access the greater ocean and for various fishing ships. Its waters are cool to cold throughout the year.
