Syre is the second largest city of the Island of Narshad and the Narsadese Republic. Historically, Syre vied with Talil as the capital city. It is served by Dragonrail and a modern skyport. The demonym for inhabitants of Syre is Syrene. Trade, fishing and fish-packing, tourism and lodging, finance, textiles, lumber, and titancraft manufacturing are some of the chief industries of the city.
