The Kingdom of Tirios, ca 4,200 to 2,400 AS, was a very ancient kingdom on the Thykomian Islands that lasted nearly two millennia. Its pre-Gwenyan people were possibly related to the Thetzisari or the peoples of Kalama. The language of Tirionites remains unknown and their script undeciphered. The ancient Jathya-Dhumi (Kalaman) name for Tirios was 'Saumakya'.

End of Tirionite Civilization

Around 2,400 AS, the first Gwenyans, the Pallathantic Tribes, invaded Tirios and the kingdom succumbed to their power. In later myth, the Cataclysms of the Screeching Maidens, ca 2370 AS, were thought to have presaged the doom of the ancient Tirionites.

Legacy

Many features of Tirionite Civilization were borrowed from Kalama. The subsequent Kingdom of Thykomos transmitted many feature of Kalama (Jathya-Dhumi) to later Ithatian Civilization.

Contemporary Civilizations and Cultures

Tirios was contemporary with the High Culture of Kalama which comprised, one after the other, the Gahashpujani Kingdom, ca 4,400 to 4,000 AS, the Pandhauzhi Kingdom, ca 3,725 to 3,150 AS, the Neibhu-Yona Kingdom, and the Surizhah Kingdom. The oral traditions and some inscriptions have reference to Tirios. The civilizations of Tirios and Kalama traded with each other. Tirios was also contemporary with the Thammazite Tribe migrations of the fourth millennium before Salmakhamer, the early Kahonri Tribes of Jerushabla, High Malesggite Civilization, ca 3,400 to 2,800 AS, and High Neptultchi Civilization, 3,200 AS to 2,500 AS.
