Derived from Vindalos, the Ithatian name of a very ancient Kalaman Emperor, the name Vindalia comprises the lands of Jecubia ([[Jakubya]], [[Throvy]]) and [[Corundy]] ([[Kshandiguh]]).  It is used more often by scholars of ancient history as today the name suggests some sort of political union between the two lands and is thus controversial.
