The Ithatian island of Zander rests in the eastern Pallathantic Sea and is the greatest, easternmost island in the Republic of Ithatia.
Zander is third largest island in the Republic of Ithatia and the largest of the easternmost islands in the republic. Like Maturn and Deliops, there is an active volcano on the island. The regional capital of Zander is Bardi. The island enjoys a mediterranean climate with rains in the late autumn and winter. The island was occupied in very ancient times by the Thetzisari Tribes, then by the Pallathantic Tribes and finally the Ithatian Tribes. The island is known for its peculiar dialect of insular Ithatian.
