An armored aerobarge is a levitating military combat vehicle with heavy armor and powerful artillery designed for devastating effect at mid to short range. An armored aerobarge differs from a titanship in that the armored aerobarge has a low operating ceiling, relatively slow speed, and is typically more heavily armored. The armored aerobarge (blespo) was first prototyped in 2581 in Sardic and has developed slowly into the twenty eighth century, becoming the key component of several modern armies in the West, especially during the late twenty seventh to twenty eighth centuries.
