The capital of the Empire of Sungo is Azhya Kaïva, the seat of the Supreme College of Ministers which is the high, ruling body of the empire. It is known in the west as the place where Sungotinian Schools are found and thus the source of pamnests who serve in the west. The Empire of Sungo is unique. The highest officers of the government are Sungotine elves, but the majority of the population is Sungotine human.
The city is divided into nineteen precincts and has a population of over a million. Azhya Kaïva rests on the north bank of the Hunakya River which flows to the Dwija Sea. The river provides shipping access to the sea.
