Birthkind is the terranization used to convey the Asdaran wanderword for 'species' or 'race.' It is typically used to refer to one of the numerous humanlike species of the World of Asdar, though it technically encompasses any species. For example, humans, elves, dwarves, halflings, and orcs are all birthkinds.
