Coming of the Neptultchi
Ancient legends of the giants and lizardfolk and the annals of the dwarves recount that the coming of the Neptultchi visited great destruction across southern Pytharnia. The oral accounts of the Tuadbe which are the remnants of the ancient Neptultchi tell that the Neptultchi dragonriders pulled the great vessel that held the Neptultchi people from the depths of the sea to the surface towards the rising sun until they landed at what is now Bryndyd. Tuadbe legend and some inscriptions corroborate that Lukwachtsal was the king of the Neptultchi at this time. The Neptultchi conquered the ruling giants of Bryndyd. They then proceeded up the land, subduing giants and defeating dwarven armies when they arrived at length before the gates of giant-occupied Trevirs.
From Ochyatsaktlochyá, their great vessel that rose from the depths of the sea and beached on the peninsula of Geddamin Bambashathra (later Bryndyd), emerged the Neptultchi on the night of a new moon. Their fishfolk slaves were sent first and their human serfs, bringing all manner of provisions and crafts, including vessels that held alien fish and grains to be cultivated in the new land. Then the dragonmount warriors with their beasts and the warrior-priests emerged. Finally, the ruling caste of the Neptultchi came forth and surveyed the land with their arcane craft. Lukwachtsal, their king or emperor, commanded his warriors and priests to attack the city of the giants in the dead of night. They have come as conquerors from a far and alien land, perhaps, alien world.
