The Doctrine of Salmakhamer refers to any widely accepted teaching attributed to the Saint Salmakhamer.
The teaching in the western world that distinguishes between gods of law and gods of chaos, attributing beneficial or at least not harmful traits to the first group and harmful and destructive traits to the latter group is the Doctrine of Salmakhamer and by tradition taught by the Prophet Salmakhamer. Distrust of gods of chaos was already widespread in the far east, especially in Sungo among the Sungotine Elves.
