The Donavish Languages constitute one of two great halves of the Ancient High Gwenyan branch of the Gwenyan Languages. It is so named after the goddess Dáunau as it was thought that the speakers of these languages preferred this goddess to the god Thwar. According to historical linguists, the Ancient High Gwenyan branch began to divide into Donavish Languages and Thwarrish Languages in the fifth millennium before Salmakhamer. Donavish Languages include Ersercese, Moigthe, ancient Pallathantic, and Ithatian.
