An Ebral is a magic beast—a great panther with fur of deepest midnight blue or green or turquoise, eight legs, and great, feathery wings, of similar color to the fur, emerging from its shoulders. Ebrals are rare indeed, but known to inhabit the depths of the Disdrire Forest of middle and northern Pytharnia.
