The Erechórebese Sunfather is used to distinguish the Sunfather of the Erechórebese Arathracian Church from the historic sunfathers of Pytharnia and Corundy. Today, the Erechórebese Sunfather is acknowledged as the head priest of the international church, ruling from his golden throne in the Holy See of Yophénthë. The Sunfather by tradition is forbidden to appoint his offspring as his successor, although as with all Arathracian clergy, the sunfather is not celibate. The Sunfather is chosen by the Holy Senators of the Arathracian College of Aigdemeans.
