The eruption of Mt. Ardinth in 1923 AS precipitated the destruction of Thykomos. The volcanic eruption brought a pyroclastic flow that wiped out cities and ports, and shot hot ash into the atmosphere that blew over the isle of Ardné. A tidal wave also was released that devasted the nearby coastlines of Sprander, Stroultë, and Imomólë islands. The eruption was considered consistent with the Vorudian Cataclysms.
