Espruga Letters
The Espruga Letters are surviving copies of state correspondence between Lord Kualotha of the Groaning Earth and Prince Ulcanov of the Shattered Waters between the years 2260 to 2270. They attained their name from the Espruga Family who held them in their possession for many years until Ithravaine Espruga donated them to the Archcollege of the Yoise in 2609. Their historicity is generally accepted among scholars of High Pytharnia and elsewhere. Depending upon the method of enumeration, they consist of sixteen to twenty seven letters. The Espruga Letters are an invaluable source of knowledge about the reigns of both Chaos Rulers, giving insight into their character and policies.
The Letters are thought to have been spirited away by one of the adherents of Lord Kualotha to prevent their destruction at the hands of the tisbajuma. The full account of how the Espruga Family came to acquire them is not publicly known.
