A race of intelligent jelly that usually live in the depths away from direct sunlight, the glarven reproduce by fusion and fission. A glarven appears as a translucent jelly with tiny neural strands through its usually amorphous form. It is able to assume any shape without changing its volume. A glarven consumes living matter of all sorts that it can digest. When changed into a different shape, a glarven still appears as a translucent jelly with thousands of tiny, shiny strands of of its nervous system. A glarven is prone to fire, but resistant to most acids.
