The Glizen Sea is part of the Boreal Ocean.
The Glizen Sea is iced over through the winter months and is part of the Boreal Ocean. The sea is largely enclosed by islands and a peninsula of northern Barathorn. The northern coast of Midrardia and the northeastern coast of Barathorn form the western and southern edges of the Glizen Sea. Even in the summer, the polar ice makes navigation out of the Glizen Sea into the greater Boreal Ocean virtually impossible. The water is very cold throughout the year, even in the summer.
