The Gulf of Skalagune is a deep gulf that separates the Dravernian Peninsula from the Bukalaan Peninsula. Its mouth opens to the west into the Bardost Sea which is part of the Boreal Ocean. Hundreds of fjords characterize the coasts of the Gulf of Skalagune. The Bay of Geeflorn and the Riavunian Sound are considered part of the gulf. Its waters are cold. The channel can ice up in the winter, but is more likely to receive a wandering iceberg from farther north in the Arctic Circle.
