In 1985, the Great Fleet of Chaos that had been gathering in the eastern Pallathantic landed at Erechóreb and subjected the island to pillaging, burning, looting, and illegitimate parentage. This paved the way for the rule of Titney the Magnificent Pest (2057 to 2296) in Yophénthë. Although the fleet in fact forcibly made port at several seaside cities of the Pallathantic Sea, their visit to the island of Erechóreb is historically known as the Invasion of the Chaos Fleet by Erechórebese historians and so the expression refers in most modern usages to the invasion of by the chaos fleet of Erechóreb in 1985.
