The Kastubian Sea is a tropical body of water located almost entirely south of the equator, between the norther portions of Bahuna and Za-Bahuna. The sea has access to the Strait of Zhasankye, the Keolamattu Sea, and the Turtle Sea. The Kastubian Sea is a critical waterway for sea merchants of the Ojo Empire en route to the Turtle Sea, Shanjahar, Benjalay, and, through the Grand Canal of Benjalay, to the greater West. The Kastubian Sea accesses the greater Shimehaz Ocean through the Strait of Zhasankye. The sea is subject to cyclonic storms which move in a counterclockwise direction from the northeast, passing south, and move southeast along the coast of Bahuna to Za-Bahuna. The sea is prone to piracy.
