Koprother
A koprother is a magical beast that assumes form in pools of water, even bodies of stagnant slime or sewage. The creature manifests through the liquid substance and can form tentacles and shapes from out of the liquid. The koprother is not easily able to leave the shape of the pool, but can see, hear, and smell anything in range of the pool it inhabits. It has no proper shape itself. The koprother is highly intelligent and can communicate with other creatures through creating shapes like bas relief on the surface of its liquid form. If it has learned the language of others, it can suck in air from the surface and then press it out of shapes on its surface that mimic the speech organs of other creatures, thus speaking.
Koprothers are typically found alone, but sometimes exist in very small groups of two to three. They are generally concerned with their own affairs. They can migrate over the surface, but it is rather debilitating and also causes them to loose some of their constituting liquid in the process.
Koprothers are found in the World of Asdar and in the World of Joturnia. They are very rare.
