Exclamations of excitement, dismay or outrage; also includes common insults. Some of these are considered irreverent or vulgar.

This is similar to ‘by Jove’ or ‘me hercule.’ Addan is comparable to Hercules.

exclamation of excitement, dismay, an innuendo to Pandancer which is thought subversive and scandalous.

- By the white virgin!
This is similar to ‘by Jove.’ The white virgin is Palithreeta, the daughter of Parkia, associated with the full moon, an allusion to nudity. Considered mildly profane and especially inappropriate for women and female virgins to say or hear.

An insult or exclamation of anger
- Sortilege and summitry!
Frustration at the delay of procedure, protocol, or politics. An innuendo to the formulistic naming conventions of the Geddamin who are thought to use lots (sortilege) to choose names for their children and the high towers of Geddamin nobles (summit, summitry). A favorite exclamation of emotion for Saba Voçan. Compare "Confound it!"
- Thwar's Wind!
Originally, a reference to heavenly might of the sky and storm god, Thwar, this expression has now become something of a joke as it implies flatulence.
