Omfluny
Omfluny is a duchy of northern Corundy that is known for its blend of Thuvaki, Arathracian, and Jathya-Dhumi cultures. It is predominantly Thuvaki with significant Rhionite and Arathracian elements. It has Aracusian groups along the western boundary with Numiria. The name for Omfluny derives from its principal city, Omflune.
Despite the several cultural gropus, Omfluny has managed, barely at times, to remain a sovereign state. There are several movements for parts of Omfluny to become independent or to unite with their neighbors.
The ruling family, Darigos, delegates much of its power to the local aristocrats, but requires their absolute loyalty in the face of external threats. Omfluny is a member of the League of Corundy and relies upon its membership to demonstrate its tolerance of its member components.
History
Omfluny was part of the Gorcorumbese Empire. It was liberated in the conclusion of the Fifth Geddamin War in 2587 as a result of the Treaty of Rhafyx (2586).
