Ori is a historic site of ruins along the Leh-Shelekhumbis River in Beph-Themesh. It lies west of present-day Sahamudh Oasis. The city was founded and flourished during the period of Shelekhumbia, thriving on trade from desert caravans and eventually succumbing to desert raiders. According to ancient clay tables, Ori was founded in the early sixth millennium before Salmakhamer.
Several sites in Ori are currently being excavated by archeologers.
