Orthont is an old name for the green lands in northwestern Weshif, north of the Zakhomite Mountains which separate it from the greater desert of Weshif. Orthont includes the lands of Bedrus and Nesdebulon, and rests along the Memnosian Sea and the Bay of Shelekhumbia. Orthont is more or less contiguous with the Kingdom of Asraelun. Orthont has a warm, Mediterranean climate with abundant winter rains from the Memnosian Sea. The principle city of Orthont is Ophasic, the capital of Asraelun. The inhabitants of Orthont are descendants of the Thammazite Tribes of Weshif.
