Panphobia is the property of being averse to magical energy. A panphobic substance will move away from a relatively higher magical energy (panergy) source and a panphobic creature will move away from what it considers excessive magical energy. The opposite property of panphobia is panphily. Some researchers believe that there are substances in the Witchlands that cause panphobia. However, the exact cause, if any, has not be isolated. Panphobia has been discovered as a property of specific objects, but the larger the affected area, the more difficult it becomes to isolate the source or cause.
