Saint Iphiala's Stars

Saint Iphiala's Stars (Iphiala anglicized /ɪfɪˑɑlə/) was the common name for an ancient Arathracian hieratic power which negated the combustive power of dwarvenfire during the time of the Yophenthean Empire. This extraordinary power is credited with one of the reasons that the dwarves of Pytharnia were obliged to submit to Yophenthean Rule. In the centuries after the Fall of the Yophenthean Empire, the power of Saint Iphiala's Stars was lost from the knowledge of the Arathracian priesthood and was not rediscovered until the early twenty seventh century.
