Sajamudh Shaksha
b 2432, Gorcorumb; ruled as overlord (anax) 2563 to 2587, deposed 2587, d 2624, Gorcorumbese Colony in new world. Anax Sajamudh Shaksha was Prince of House Shaksha and a powerful warrior. He was a descendant of the Awoken Gorcorumbese and thus of noble Geddamin stock. Sajamudh was alive during all six Geddamin Wars. In 2563, he challenged then ruling overlord, Dayash of House Thushabin to combat and was victorious. He was ruler of Gorcorumb during the Fourth Geddamin War and the Fifth Geddamin War.
Sajamudh Shaksha was styled "Imperious Overlord of Gorcorumb and Master of the Empire." He approved of the Kalikán-Ephysgæes Pact and accepted the Thracian proposal to have it renewed. He endeavored to solidify the friendship of his house with King-Emperor of Thrace, Ädaz Vädukund.
After the empire's defeat in the Fifth Geddamin War, House Mikhsadha and House Pahubeh formed a coalition and opposed House Shaksha in the War of the Eight Pennants, a civil war from 2586 to 2587. To avoid offending Shaksha's supporters, they did not slay Sajamudh, but compelled him into exile.
Sajamudh left with nearly all of House Shaksha to the Gorcorumbese colony in the new world. He wrote several books in exile, including his memoirs.
Aftermath
An uprising of Timanthiot Gorcorumbese (cf. Tamithakyah), that is, common Geddamin giants in Gorcorumb who opposed the over-rule of the noble Geddamin brought Gorcorumb into a state of anarchy in late 2586 and any plans for renewed conquest had to be shelved by the noble Gorcorumbese. House Mikhsadha and House Pahubeh attempted to lead the other Noble Houses to subdue the rebellion. As a result of the uprising, Telmuric, the under-city of Shaprashilara Lum is largely autonomous.
